Post Preventative Maintenance while in winter storage
I spent a bunch of time getting all the information on what was done to my 2007 BMW M6 prior to me purchasing it and now that the weather has gone in the crapper, I want to do a schedule up for prevented maintenance and repairs while it is having the car is in hibernation. This is what I am looking at as the M6 has 74,000kms:

1. Battery maintainer
2. Fuel Stabilizer with a full tank of gas
3. Increase the tire PSI
4. Full wax and detail prior to the car cover going on
5. Throw a couple Bounce sheets inside the car and trunk (never had a mouse problem in the garage, but why risk it)

That is the easy stuff, the maintenance over the winter I am thinking of doing is:

1. Drain and replace the transmission fluid
2. Drain and replace the brake fluid
3. Drain and replace the coolant
4. Inspect the belts and replace as necessary
5. Replace the spark plugs, inspect the coil packs and connections for wear and tear
6. Inspect and replace (if necessary) all filters
7. Full under car/suspension inspection for leaks and exhaust condition
8. All under hood hose inspection and replacement if necessary
9. Full engine detail
10. Full wheel cleaning

I have probably missed something and for the next 6 months I will probably think of some upgrades to do to it, but I am not going to worry about engine and tune mods until I fully understand what the previous owner did to the car.
