Post 2003 BMW 530i M-Sport
Hi All,

In hunt for a new car and my first preference is always a BMW. Scrolling through Kijiji I saw a red 2003 530i M-Sport. I was hoping more knowledgeable members on here could take a look and provide some feedback? The poster (a PT member), said there a minor oil leak, one or two drops per day...I'm not sure if that's normal for these cars. Seems like the car is in good condition overall.
I am planning on taking a look and hopefully a test drive this weekend.
Looking forward to everyone's feedback.

........all new cooling system (including rad.),.......Suspension has also been upgraded (Bilstein dampers, H&R springs......
Sounds like all the hard work has been done.

I've owned 2 E39 528i and loved them to over 250,000KM and currently have a M5 in E39 body style and will have no other.

The E39 body is classic. The M54 engine is rock solid.

Oil leak may be the oil filter housing. Where is it wet? Valve covers also a source of oil leakage. I'm surprised with all the other maintenance the owner has not fixed a "simple" oil leak.

summary: appears to be a well kept car. So sad it has a slip'n'drip.
